Whether you’re looking for holiday cheer, to give back to the community, or just to get outside for some fresh air, there’s a lot to do this season!
Here are some highlights, and we’ve provided some links to more resources below.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
If you want to get out of the house on Christmas Day, there are a couple of options:
- Churches all over the town are having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services. Please consult your local church for details.
For Families
It can be hard keeping little ones happy and busy when they’re on Christmas vacation. Here are some great ideas to get them moving and (hopefully) nicely tired out.
- Family skating on Saturdays: the North Grenville Municipal Centre hosts family skating nights every Saturday from 6 PM – 7:20 PM. Get more information here.
- Sat Nov 30: The Old Town Kemptville Christmas event is a time full of fun with horse wagon rides, smores, fire barrels, face painting, visits from Santa and much more! Located in Downtown Kemptville from 10 AM till 2 PM. Check out the Facebook event here.
- Sun Dec 8: The Kemptville Farmers’ Market Christmas Market will have everything Christmas, you name it! From 12 PM till 3 PM, enjoy Christmas shopping while supporting local businesses. Learn more about this event here.
For Adults – Singles or Couples
If you’re looking for a night out on the town, Kemptville offers a touch of glitz and glamour to make your holidays more romantic.
- Thur Dec 5: This Jingle & Mingle is a free admission event. Enjoy a silent auction, seasonal refreshments and live music. Funds raised will support the 2020 Sustainability Fair. For more information click here.
- Tue Dec 31: The New Year’s Eve Party with Eddy & the Stingrays will be a great time to ring in the New Year. There will be door prizes, spot dance prizes, a late-night buffet and more! Enjoy sparkling toast at midnight. Learn more here.
