Heating and cooling your home is necessary, but unfortunately it’s getting more and more expensive. The new GreenON energy rebate program plans to change that.
Through the GreenON program, you could qualify for as much as $20,000 in rebates when you switch to a high-efficiency heat pump system.
The program is funded by $600 million in accumulated carbon taxes, and its purpose is to encourage homeowners to invest in HVAC systems that will not only save energy, but save you money and bring a higher level of comfort to your home.
For people in rural areas without access to a gas line, and/or living in an older home without ducting, this program could be your game changer. It’s open to everyone with every kind of heating, including wood furnaces, oil furnaces, and baseboard electric heat.

Eligibility
To be eligible for these rebates you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be the homeowner or have written permission from the homeowner to make these changes
The homes themselves must be residential detached, semi-detached or row townhouses. This means that even if you live in a condo, we have options for you!
