- Eligible homes include detached, semi-detached, row houses, and homes on permanent foundations.

Contest Rules and Fine Print
The Oldest Furnace Contest (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of Eastern Ontario who are at least 18 years old and own a single-family, owner-occupied home. The home must be heated by a natural gas or propane furnace and serve as the primary heat source. The ductwork must be in good condition and compatible with the new furnace installation. The home must be within the Atel Air Heating & Air Conditioning service area.
Only one entry per household is permitted. Any attempt to submit multiple entries by using different email addresses or methods will result in disqualification.
Judging & Winner Selection:
Finalists will be chosen based on the furnace details provided. Atel Air’s technicians will visit the finalists’ homes to inspect the furnace and verify its age and condition. The homeowner with the oldest, functioning furnace will win. In the event of a tie, the entry submitted first will be declared the winner. All decisions are final.
Employees of Atel Air and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. This Contest is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited.
