Rebate Options
Electric Heating Customers
– Up to $7,500 for air source heat pumps ($1,250/ton)
– Up to $12,000 for ground source heat pumps ($2,000/ton)
– Up to $12,000 for ground source heat pumps ($2,000/ton)
Enbridge Gas Customers
– Up to $2,000 for air source heat pumps ($500/ton)
– Ground source heat pumps: $3,000 (flat rate)
– Ground source heat pumps: $3,000 (flat rate)
Program Eligibility
- Must be a residential property in Ontario
- Single detached, semi-detached, row house, townhome, or mobile home on permanent foundation
- Must have been occupied for at least 6 months
- New builds do not qualify.
- Must own the home where heat pump will be installed
- For rental properties, the owner must apply
- Must be either:
- An Enbridge Gas customer with active account and natural gas heating, OR
- Connected to Ontario electricity grid with electric heating
- First-time heat pump installations only (replacements not eligible)
