Jimmie started as a young boy holding a flashlight and riding in the truck with his father, the founder of the company. Mr. Arthur Thom started the business out of his home in 1949, then known as Arthur Thom Electric Ltd.

Greg is experienced in all aspects of the job including new installations and service. He enjoys the everyday challenges that come with working in the HVAC field.
Jackson Thom
As a 3rd-generation Comfort Advisor, Jackson helps families choose the best HVAC systems for their homes. Since joining full-time in January 2023, he’s been involved in business operations, always curious and eager to learn. Outside work, Jackson enjoys a good movie or playing hockey, soccer, or basketball.
Shawn Lapier
Shawn is a licensed refrigeration technician and gas fitter with over 30 years of experience. He’s certified to work on leading systems like Carrier, Bryant, Mitsubishi, and Navien, as well as all makes and models of HVAC equipment.
Kevin Wright
Kevin specializes in diagnosing, repairs, and maintenance. He has been with ATEL for over 5 years and loves traveling and ATV off-roading. In his downtime, Kevin enjoys spending time with family, including his two grandchildren.
Shane McGuire
Shane has been part of the team since June 2024. He has a G2 gas fitters license and is currently completing his AC license. He lives and services mainly the Brockville and Prescott area. Outside of work, Shane loves basketball, spending time with his family, and supporting his wife’s baby boutique business.
Lauren Ripley
Lauren ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes by staying on top of emails and daily support and admin tasks. Outside of work, she loves relaxing or embarking on adventures, indulging in her favourite Shawarma, and expressing her creativity through crafting, cooking, and baking.
Dwayne Fawcett
Dwayne has a vast knowledge of experience in the field. He has been installing complete systems for over 33 years.

Tricia Kaddie
Tricia answers phones, reviews jobs, dispatches service calls, books maintenance appointments, sells and sets up maintenance plans. She has been with ATEL for over 7 years and enjoys spending time with family and friends in her free time. Her favourite food is crispy chicken burrito from Bar Burrito with chocolate, and her favourite movies are Stand By Me, Dumb and Dumber, and all the Harry Potter movies. A unique hobby? Singing like no one is listening.
Adam Bogle
Adam is a dual-licensed Air Conditioning Technician and Gas Fitter, excelling in both installations and service for residential and commercial clients. Adam’s versatility has been a key asset, contributing to the success of the team with steady dedication.
Larry Toonders
Larry has been working in the installation department at ATEL Air for over 21 years. When not at work, Larry enjoys hiking, soaking in his hot tub, or traveling.
Matt Dillabough
Matt has been in the business for 14 years. He has both his Gas Fitter and air conditioning licenses.
Joey Benoit
Currently pursuing his Level 1 Commercial Refrigeration Mechanic certification, Joey is committed to expanding his expertise in the field. Outside of work, he enjoys playing video games, fishing, and exploring new culinary experiences. Whether it’s a classic BBQ cheeseburger or something adventurous, Joey’s always up for trying something new!
Emerson Sears
Emerson handles payables, receivables, reviewing financials, and payroll. He has been with ATEL for 2 years and spends his free time playing soccer. His favourite food is wonton soup and fried rice, and his go-to movies are Rush Hour 3 and Bad Boys 2. Fun fact: Emerson is addicted to chewing gum.
Marc Lemire
Marc’s role involves morning meetings with the crew, discussing jobs, pricing, and quoting new jobs. He keeps an eye on the electrical department to ensure everything is running smoothly. With 5 years at ATEL, Marc loves spending time with his kids and riding his motorcycle. His favourite food is pizza, and he’s a fan of Rocky. Outside of work, he enjoys hockey and baseball.
Noah Barclay
Noah works on electrical services including generators, wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs. He has been with ATEL for 1 year and enjoys playing hockey in his spare time. His favourite food is steak and potatoes, and his favourite movies are Dazed and Confused and Stepbrothers. Outside of work, Noah enjoys hunting.
Brian Errington
Brian takes on various electrical jobs including generator maintenance, troubleshooting, and commercial services. With 3+ years at ATEL, he loves kayaking and woodworking in his free time. His favourite food is donairs, and he’s a fan of the movie Gladiator.
Casey Thom
Casey plays a vital role in the team as the go-to person for inventory management, unloading trucks, and delivering parts to service technicians in the field. With a certification in forklift operation, Casey ensures smooth operations behind the scenes.
